Community Grants

Upper Hunter Shire Council has appointed Amelia Hohnen to the position of Community Grants Officer. This position is funded by the Coal & Allied Community Trust as part of approximately $1 million that the Trust makes available to major community projects in the Hunter region each year.

Amelia is available to assist local non-profit community groups to secure funding for the development of the local community.

Should your group need help with funding, the Community Grants Officer may be able to help you:

Further develop your project idea
Identify relevant funding sources
Gather support for your project
Prepare a successful funding application
