Australia Day Awards
Each year the Upper Hunter Shire Council celebrates the achievements of residents who make valuable contributions in our communities.
"Anyone can receive an Australia Day Award; they just need someone to nominate them."
Awards are presented at local celebrations in;-
- Aberdeen
- Merriwa
- Murrurundi
- Scone
All nominees are considered for the Upper Hunter Shire Citizen of the Year Award and Young Citizen of the year award. These awards are selected by Council.
