Scone
Scone's Second Hand Sunday to be held this Sunday from 8.00am till 12 noon. Members of the community that haven't returned their registration - please do so as soon as possible. To the community we invite you to come and browse the pre-loved goods on offer from 8.00am at the back of Elizabeth Park in Scone.
There is to be a modern decoupage demonstration on Wednesday 25th November commencing at 10.30am at Bunnan. The cost of the day is $5.00 which includes lunch and there will be a lucky door prize and raffle. For further information please call Beryl Bates on 6545 4123.

The Scone and Upper Hunter Historical Society will be open again on the 6th December. Then the committee will review the merit of opening on the Sundays before extending it into 2010.
COMMUNITY groups and not-for-profit organizations are urged to update their details with Scone Neighbourhood Resource Centre as work on the 2010 Community Directories for the Upper Hunter begins. But only those groups who respond to the opportunity for a free listing with updated details would be included in the directory, which will be available in a hard copy booklet and on the SNRC website. Movie Mania this Friday night kicks the weekend off with a brilliant movie... My sister's keeper staring Cameron Diaz and Abigail Breslin. Starting at 6.30pm. It is rated M, and is held in the Great Hall at the Merriwa Central School Secondary department. Cost is just $5.00.
Merriwa Touch football has made a start but it is not too late. If you are between 5 and 12, and wish to come along. Then come to the Merriwa Sports oval on this Wednesday, competition for your age group does not kick off until after Christmas. the games from now until then are to help you learn how to play.
